This homemade green salsa is the freshest & tastiest snack you can imagine, bonus- it's cheap and easy too!! The color is incredible and the flavor is even better!
Start out by grabbing all your fresh veggies. The amount of each ingredient honestly changes every time we make this BUT it's always delicious and lasts a whole 10 minutes. You can adjust the spice level depending on your tastebuds but we love super spicy salsas. This could be spicer but if you're not a spice fan, I would cut back on the amount of peppers.
We use 12-15 tomatillos, 4 jalapeños & 2 serranos , 1/2 white onion, lemon juice & garlic.
Start by broiling the tomatillos, peppers & garlic for 8 minutes, flipping the veggies after 4 minutes. While those are in the oven, chop up your onion and grab the cilantro.
After the veggies are broiled and ready to go, add everything to your blender and start pulsing all those goods together! You can add lemon or lime juice and salt to taste, we use half a lemon, 2 garlic cloves & ~1tspn of salt.
Keep on pulsing it until you've reached the thinness you desire!
Once you've reached the texture you like, go ahead and grab those jars and fill 'em up!
Pop the jars in the fridge and wait for the salsa to cool down, then enjoy!!
Now it's y'all's turn to make this fresh, restaurant style green salsa!
